Leben in Deutschland. Test

The task

I took the German citizenship test myself and found that the apps for it were either full of ads or paid. So I made a free one, where every question comes with a clear explanation, with no ads and no subscriptions.

What I did

• Design and development for iPhone and iPad: a daily study plan and every question from the official catalogue with an explanation of the right answer.
• Smart review of mistakes, bookmarks and weaker topics, and a 33-question mock exam with a 60-minute limit.
• Vocabulary with translations and German pronunciation, and Home Screen widgets, including a daily question you can answer right on the widget.
• Optional sign-in with Apple or Google to sync progress between devices, with account deletion inside the app.
• Interface in Ukrainian, German, English and more languages, plus everything for the App Store release: screenshots, texts, privacy.

Result

Released on the App Store in 2026 and free for everyone, with no ads and no subscriptions.
